Eamon Eating His Birthday Cupcake

Hmm, this is interesting. What is it?

Everything else goes in my mouth, I guess I should put this cupcake in there too.
I'm not quite sure about this. Let me throw some of it on the floor.

Abra Cadabra - It has been squished.

Let me just get some of this icing behind my ears and in my hair.

I didn't eat the blue one, what makes you think I'm going to eat the green one?

Hooray!!

Maybe I"ll try eating it this way.

Do I really have to take a bath?

All this on the face, and nothing in the mouth!
More to come...

Eamon & his Birthday Cupcake

None of this went in his mouth.

12 Month Check-Up

We went for Eamon's 12 month check-up yesterday.
Here are his stats:
22 lbs, 11 oz - 50th Percentile
31 1/4" long - 95th Percentile

After talking to Eamon's pediatrician yesterday, I'm going to call and schedule an ENT consult to talk about the possibility of getting tubes in his ears. Poor little guy has had 3 ear infections in 3 months. The last infection took two rounds of antibiotics to get rid of. I really feel like it's a matter of when he gets the next infection rather than if he gets the next infection. It seems like every time he gets a runny nose, it turns into an ear infection.
I'll try to post some pictures of Eamon's Birthday party after Eamon goes to bed tonight.

Happy Birthday

Eamon turned 1 yesterday. We had a great day!
We took him out to lunch and then we went to the bookstore to get him a few more books. It was so cold that we came home and just hung out inside the rest of the day.
His party is next weekend.

An afternoon at the park

The Saturday after Christmas was so nice, we took Eamon to the park to play.

He enjoyed Daddy throwing him up in the air.
And walking around
Walking with Daddy

And playing with this puppy (no, it is not ours)

After Bathtime

Sometimes after bathtime Eamon escapes from the bathroom and proudly walks up and down the hall squealing.
