A few weeks ago, pre-Brady, we took Eamon to the Pumpkin Patch. We told Eamon the night before that we were going to the farm in the morning and he was so excited. The first thing that he said to me when he woke up on Saturday morning was, "We go to the farm?"
The first thing to do at the farm was to ride the toddler tractors.
After a quick maze and visit with some chickens, goats and other barn animals, Eamon decided he needed to ride the horse.
We watched a couple of baby cows being fed from HUGE bottles and then Eamon and Daddy climbed up on the pile of hay bales.
We then took a hayride to the pumpkin patch. Eamon really enjoyed the hayride.

Eamon was on the lookout for his baby pumpkin. When we first arrived at the patch he found this one, but we convinced him to keep looking (Big Mistake!!)
All of the other pumpkins we found were too big (even if they were smaller than the first one we saw)
or they were too dirty...
So we kept looking. Mommy and Daddy found pumpkins,
but Eamon just couldn't find the perfect one.
Finally, Eamon spotted the only hayride being pulled by donkeys (all the others were pulled by tractors) and he decided we needed to get on that one. Eamon took a B-line towards the hayride and Daddy just picked up a small pumpkin on the way. Eamon didn't seem to notice that he never picked out a pumpkin.
We had a great morning at the pumpkin patch.
