Working in the backyard

We've been getting the backyard ready for spring and Eamon has been helping.

If you are wondering what happened to Ed's leg. He started playing softball with the church team and at his second game he slid into third base and scraped a bunch of skin off of his leg. It was a lot worse up higher.

Happy Birthday MamaMarie

Thanks for taking care of me every day.
For letting me splash in puddles
and building me forts
and showing me how to (pretend to) stir coffee
Thanks for taking me on walks
and reading me books
Thanks for letting me play in the dirt
and teaching me new things
Thanks for rocking me and kissing me and holding me.
I have so much fun with you!
Love, Eamon

Palm Sunday

Since this Blog is named "All About Eamon" I feel I must start with a picture of Eamon.
Here he is going down his slide on the back porch at Mama Marie & Papa Lee's house.
We got together today to celebrate my parents birthdays.
Mom's is Monday and Papa's is Tuesday.

Well, my friend Rachel (who lives in Rome, Ga) bought tickets for her older girls and husband to go see the big Dinosaur show, so Rachel and this beauty hung out with us while they were gone.

This is Juliana Kate and she is 2 weeks old.

Rowan just couldn't resist coming over to meet Juliana.
(look at those eyes, watch out ladies!)

I had been saying that I wanted to get a picture of all the kids together, but didn't know how we could do that. Then I brought this exersaucer down for Rowan to sit in and the big kids just gathered around, then Nathan slid Juliana in there and voila!
From left to right:
Juliana (2 weeks), Eamon (almost 15 months), Rowan (7 months), Rosie (almost 4), Evie (6)
Rosie & Evie are Juliana's big sisters.
Eamon tickling Rowan's feet.
Eamon giving Rosie a kiss.

Eamon at Aldridge Gardens

Apparently, the water was tasty.

Giant bunny

Oh yeah, this is fun.

Last Friday, after the rain, I took Eamon to Aldridge Gardens. He wore his froggy rain boots, just in case.... He liked the giant bunny and turtle, but his favorite things was a puddle. He stomped, splashed with feet and hands and drank and had a great time. I drug him away so he could see the lake, but in his opinion, the puddle was much more fun.

I am so blessed to be able to spend so much time with this precious little boy and watch him grow.
