Happy 18 Months Little Bug

I can't believe our little bug is already 18 months old

Some days he acts so much older (physically), but he still knows how to reassure me that he is my little bug.  He wants to do everything that Eamon does.  He is able to climb to the top bunk of Eamon's bunk bed, which completely scares me.  He can jump, run and says SO many words.

He has lots of words and knows how to use them.  Most often we hear: Mommy, Daddy, Papa, Cookie, Ball, Badu (water), Bada (brother), Babu (bubbles), Afle (waffle), Beh (bread).  He will try to say anything you ask him to.  Quite the little parrot!

He loves bubbles, being outside, eating, going on walks, slides, chasing after his brother and wrestling Daddy

His favorite foods seem to be fruit, cantaloupe, watermelon, and bread.
We have stopped serving bread with dinner because that is all he will eat if he sees it.

He can point out his tickly toes, his belly, ears, eyes, nose, tongue, mouth, hair  and teeth.  When asked where his tongue is, he will stick it out and say "ahhhhh".

Brady is such a loving and happy little boy.

Visiting the Dyers

How many monkeys climbing in this tree?
We had so much fine that we hated to leave!

Gardening

The boys did a great job helping us in the yard.  Well, Eamon was a good helper.  Brady pretty much just stomps on the plants or flowers or just pulls them out of the ground.

Easter Sunday

After mass we headed to my parents house.  Before the boys started their egg hunt, we tried to get a few pictures, but this 4 year old boy doesn't like to smile for the camera!!!

The egg hunt began - again Eamon got most of the Eggs and Brady just wandered around.

After finding all the eggs I suggested that Eamon hide them again for Nick to find when he arrived.  Eamon was excited about that.  He hid about 6 eggs and then dumped the rest out of his basket in a pile.

I mentioned to Eamon that Nick would probably easily find the eggs.

He then got his chair and stuffed all the eggs underneath the chair.

When Nick got there, Eamon showed him where he hid all of the eggs.  I don't think he gets the concept.

We spent most of the day outside, the boys playing in the dirt and us big kids planting flowers, until the snake jumped out of the pot I was planting in.  Then Ed had to finish with the flowers.

Eamon helped make and then decorated by himself a birthday cake for Marie, Papa and Nick.
He added the candles, (we lit them) he started everyone with a 1-2-3 for Happy Birthday.  And then he even blew the candles out for them.

Easter Morning

The boys awoke on Easter morning and snuggled in bed with Mommy & Daddy until I reminded Eamon that it was Easter.  He headed into the kitchen to see what the bunny brought.

Then it was time to find the eggs the the bunny hid.  Eamon looked all around and gathered lots of eggs.  Brady found one, figured out there was candy in it and then sat himself under the table with his peeps and his candy filled egg. "Score!!"
