Ear Infections

Well, Eamon has his first ear infection, in both ears. Thursday night was rough, with crying and screaming for a good hour and a half. We went to the Dr on Friday and got an antibiotic and some numbing ear drops. Eamon's doing good now. Oh, and the bandaid made it's exit on Thursday!

9 Month Check-Up

Eamon had his 9 month check-up yesterday.
He weighs 20lbs, 13 oz, which puts him in the 50th percentile for weight
He is 30" long, which puts him in the 100th percentile for height.
He got 3 shots, which he wasn't pleased about.
On the way home he pulled one of his band aids off of his thigh and began choking on it.
I pulled the car over, but couldn't get it out of his mouth. He had swallowed it!

9 Months Old

Eamon turned 9 months old on Saturday! I can't believe it!

He has also taken some more steps. I'm predicting he'll be walking by Halloween!

We go to the Dr on Wednesday for his 9 month check up and tomorrow he has an eye appointment to get a check-up. It's through the Infant See program.

Eamon isn't feeling too good today. He has a runny nose and a little cough. He's snuggling with MamaMarie right now.

Our Little Camper

We went camping last weekend with our friends from church.
Eamon really enjoyed playing in the tent. Eating green beans while camping.
Eamon really enjoyed sitting in his friend Emma's chair.

First Step

Eamon took his first step yesterday. He was holding onto one of my dresser drawers when he let go and took a step, then he went into a crawl. I'm pretty sure he didn't know what he did and looked at my strangely when I got so excited. He can stand on his own for a few seconds and that time is getting longer!. Oh, he has also learned out how to clap (but he doesn't do this on demand). This morning on the way to MamaMarie's and Papa's house he was in the back seat clapping, smiling, laughing, kicking his feet and squealing. He's just so funny!
