8 Months Old

Eamon is 8 months old today. I can't believe it!!!

For those of you who haven't been around Eamon lately let me tell you a little about him.

He is a VERY happy baby and he is always smiling. Everywhere we go people comment on how happy he is and that they have never seen a happier baby. The more people are around the more smiles he gives. When he smiles, he makes others smile. What a wonderful gift he has.

He is a very busy boy. We have taken him to the church nursery twice. The first time we picked him up we were told "He was very busy" and the second time we were told "He was just everywhere exploring."

He absolutely LOVES kids and other babies. He loves to watch kids playing and I know he really wants to go play with them. His friend Amelia from church is almost 1 year old and last week he followed her around (she is walking) every where she went he was right behind her.

He also LOVES animals. He desperately wants to play with MamaMarie's dog, but it's an old grumpy dog, so we have to keep him away from her. He loves our cats too!

He is very fast. He crawls all over the place and then pulls up. He loves to stand up (holding onto something) But we have seen him stand up a few times by himself (for just a few seconds)

He is getting really good at falling. Now when he falls he will sometimes put his hands down or lift his head up so his head won't hit the ground.

He is really good at wearing out MamaMarie, Daddy & Me!!!

And MamaMarie just called me to tell me that he is crawling around the house with one of his toys in his mouth and that earlier this morning he was banging on his chest with his left hand. I'm not sure what that was about.

Now for some pictures of Eamon at church on Sunday in the sailor suit that MamaMarie made. Eamon really liked the red tie, when we picked him up from the nursery it was soaking wet from him chewing on it.

He is actually looking at some people that walked by and said hello to him. He is very social!

We forgot to post this on our blog, but Daddy had a big birthday last week. He turned....30!!!
