DA DA DA DA

After the zoo and swimming on Monday, we went to watch Ed play softball. Eamon yelled DA DA DA DA the entire time. He also says "pa ba" which is "play ball"
In the past few weeks, Eamon has become very vocal. He talks constantly! Some words he says really good, like "cheese" and "shoe" other times you have to know what he is trying to tell you, like ba could be bagel, ball, blueberry or waffle (waffle is like a bagel, they both go in the toaster?) Mmm, is milk or water. Most of the time, he will try to repeat what you tell him to.

He is very smart and knows how things are supposed to be. Anytime we go to MamaMarie's and Papa's house he goes straight to the stairs and says no no, until we put Sparky up there and shut the gate. He will also point out if you don't pick up the dog bowl.

He likes to throw things away now, but you have to watch what he puts in the trash can, and as mom says, sometimes he also makes withdrawals.

He is really into closing doors right now, sometimes he will close himself in his closet and then I hear him yelling Ma Ma Ma Ma. If we walk by the laundry room doors and they are not closed, he has to close them.

Today he ate half a container of blueberries - is there a point when that becomes bad for you?

Ed helped Eamon conquer his fear of the vacuum cleaner this week. Now I'm not sure there is anything left that Eamon is scared of.

He knows where most of his body parts are, and if you ask him where his nose is, he puts a finger in each of his nostrils!

I've am really enjoying spending so much time with Eamon. He is so much fun to be with and it is so much fun to watch him learn.

I'm glad you two are enjoying your time together! Love reading about all the little things he does now.
